Community Christmas Dinner 2021
Delivering Christmas joy across Inishowen
We were delighted to be able to run Christmas Dinner in 2021. Over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, we were able to deliver 100 three-course, home-cooked Christmas Dinners complete with all the trimmings and a gift bag to provide a little joy to elderly people, those living alone and those experiencing challenges or difficulty this Christmas.
We were overwhelmed with the help and support we received, and despite the difficulties posed by the Omicron outbreak it was a joy to hear how much people appreciated receiving the dinner.
Thanks to Doherty Roe Fresh Vegetables, Tank & Skinny's Seaside, The Cottage Bar, Andoras, Buncrana Tidy Towns, Buncrana Saint Vincent de Paul, Crana College, McKenna's Centra, Mac's Newsagent, Coyles Fuel, Logan's Waste and the many many individuals who donated, delivered, cooked or helped in any way to make this year's Christmas Dinner possible.
