Main Hall

With a variety of tables and chairs, flexible staging, lectern, sound system, screen and ceiling-mounted data projector, moveable mirrors / screens, keyboard and microphones - our Main Hall lends itself beautifully to a range of events, classes, conferences, concerts, performances, open mics, talks, private parties, demonstrations and conventions. This floor also leads to our small car park, has a disabled-access bathroom and a small kitchen area including a catering urn, fridge and dishwasher.  The room comfortably seats 60 people but we have  hosted much larger events.  This is the venue for our annual Community Christmas Dinner.

Training Room

This carpeted first-floor room can comfortably seat 30+ people for talks or presentations, or provide a more flexible and interactive space for committee meetings or discussions, training seminars and workshops, mindfulness and relaxation, small family gatherings (e.g. Christenings) and private functions.  This room is next door to our fully-equipped kitchen - ideal for coffee breaks or lunches - and has easy access to male and female toilets.

Ideal for small or start-up businesses or groups looking for:

  • Desk top computer and internet (if required)
  • E-fibre broadband  / WiFi
  • Conference room facilities. 
  • Access to kitchen with fridge, microwave, cooker, kettle and all crockery/ cutlery plus use of the dishwasher.
Rates are inclusive of insurance, electricity, heating and internet usage, and are set low to facilitate small and new ventures, community groups and social enterprises. 

You can choose to rent a permanent desk or use a desk for a short time or a particular day of the week.  Longer rentals are subject to a contract.

Counselling Room

Our sound-proofed counselling room provides a soothing and confidential space for providing listening ear, support or therapy.

Renting Space

Prices for room/office rental at The Exchange are set low, to help you get your idea or project off the ground. By sharing the costs together, we can all benefit from less expensive rates in this non-profit community setting. We hope the rates act as incentive for you to turn your plans into reality. 

​In addition to the space you need, we also include kitchen and bathroom facilities on both floors, 
Wi-Fi, data projector, stage facilities, lectern, PA system and boardroom facilities for those using the office. 
Kitchens are equipped with fridges, kettles, a catering urn, jugs, cutlery, cups & glasses with an upstairs oven and downstairs dishwasher. Local restaurants offer catering services if required. Printing/photocopying is available on request at reduced rates.
